Light Yagami

Light Yagami is an excellent student, in other words he is a genius, who one day gets a notebook.The thing is , this ain't any ordinary notebook, it is a notebook of Death.

Light Yagami is the protagonist of the series. He is shown to be quite innocent in the start of the series.His deductive skills are very good, and in many cases, he could predict the whole scenarios that could happen.He hates to lose, a quality which is clearly shown in his face-off with L. Light has a very childish notion of good and bad, which is proved by the great detective L. Initially in the series, he shows sympathy for people, but this is quite a different scenario in the ending episodes of the series. Without L, we wouldn't have been able to see his genius ideas. He is very careful and takes no risks.
He is Kira.
